Salary: USD 129,000 - 157,000 / annual
Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building energy-efficient solutions to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. They own and operate the full stack from electrons to tokens, addressing the critical bottleneck of power availability for AI compute.
You will join the Global Safety Pillar as HSE Manager, Data Center Construction, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Global Safety. Based in Dallas, you will provide dedicated safety oversight for active deployments and operational data centers, serving as the primary safety point of contact for internal teams and external contractors.
Key responsibilities include:
- On-site safety leadership and oversight for deployments and data center operations
- Risk assessment and mitigation, developing action plans to reduce worker risk
- HSE program development, including Right to Know policies and Hazard Communication programs
- Compliance monitoring with federal and state regulations, reporting on HSE objectives and metrics
- Incident management, including investigations and root cause analysis
- Training and culture development to maintain high HSE awareness
- Stakeholder and regulatory liaison work with contractors, clients, and local agencies
- Documentation management, ensuring MSDS/SDS folders are maintained and accessible
This is a full-time position with 50% travel required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant HSE experience
- University degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
- Proven technical knowledge of HSE rules and regulations at Federal and State levels
- Direct implementation experience with HSE rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Experience with electrical safety standards (e.g., NFPA70E/OSHA30)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills for documentation, reporting, and HSE management systems
- Legal work authorization in the US without sponsorship requirement
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience supporting HSE programs in data center, cloud infrastructure, or R&D environments
- Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, or OHST
- Familiarity with environmental regulations impacting data center operations
