You'll join the People team as an HR Generalist, owning day-to-day people operations across multiple workstreams. This is an ideal role for someone early in their HR career seeking broad exposure and real ownership.
**Key Responsibilities:**
HRIS & Data Integrity: Manage daily HRIS updates (start dates, titles, reporting lines, employee records). Run regular internal data audits to catch discrepancies before they impact payroll, benefits, or reporting. Partner with People Ops, Finance, and IT to maintain data consistency across systems.
Onboarding Logistics: Coordinate end-to-end new hire onboarding including background check monitoring, I-9 verifications, IT provisioning (laptops, email, accounts), workspace coordination, and welcome materials. Facilitate weekly new hire sessions, manage logistics and calendars, present agenda portions, and gather feedback for continuous improvement. Serve as a friendly first point of contact for pre-start and first-week questions.
Contractor Lifecycle Management: Own the full contractor lifecycle—onboarding (agreements, signatures, background checks), timeline tracking (start/end dates, extensions, conversions), and offboarding (access/equipment return, final documentation). Maintain accurate contractor records and status at every stage.
Immigration Support: Support immigration case processing in partnership with the People team and outside counsel. Gather documents, track case status, and maintain timelines. Handle basic immigration questions from employees, candidates, and recruiters, escalating complex matters appropriately. Maintain accurate immigration records and calendar key deadlines.
Internal Documentation: Own and maintain the internal HR wiki, keeping pages current and easy to navigate as policies evolve. Document new and changed processes to create a reliable single source of truth.
Employee Recognition: Support administration of the recognition program, including managing award prizes, swag, and fulfillment logistics. Help maintain program visibility and consistent cadence.

- Comfortable pivoting as priorities shift and able to re-prioritize quickly without losing track of open items
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with sound judgment about what to handle directly versus when to escalate
- Discretion and good judgment in handling confidential employee information
**Nice to Have:**
- Experience supporting immigration cases (H-1B, TN, O-1, green card processing)
- Experience in a startup or high-growth, fast-paced environment
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as Rippling
- Enthusiastic, positive energy; someone people are genuinely glad to work with
