Turquoise Health, a Series C healthtech startup backed by a16z and other leading VCs, is seeking a Contract Architect to join its fully remote, US-based team. This role bridges data analytics, customer success, and product development within a price transparency platform serving 300+ enterprise healthcare organizations.
You will own the creation of machine-readable contract files for hospital and health system customers, leveraging deep knowledge of payer-provider contracting, reimbursement mechanisms, and revenue cycle dynamics. Your primary responsibilities include querying and analyzing hospital contract data using SQL, providing ad-hoc analytics support to customers, and translating their data and reporting requirements to the engineering team. You'll serve as a trusted advisor, helping customers understand pricing mechanisms and the impact of contracting changes on their operations.
The role requires strong collaboration across Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering teams. You'll identify product opportunities through customer interactions, prioritize technical feedback, and undertake special projects to strengthen customer relationships and push forward active deals. Your analytical expertise will directly influence the product roadmap and feature development.
Required qualifications include 3+ years in revenue cycle or healthcare consulting in a technical/analytical role, in-depth knowledge of healthcare contracting and reimbursement, and strong SQL proficiency. You should excel at quality assurance, problem-solving, and communication across all organizational levels. The ideal candidate combines big-picture thinking with deep healthcare domain expertise and a data-driven mindset.
