Salary: USD 280,000 - 350,000 / annual

YipitData is a unicorn-valued ($1B+) market research and analytics firm specializing in alternative data and insights for the disruptive economy. The company recently raised $475M from The Carlyle Group and operates globally with offices in NYC, Austin, Miami, Mountain View, and across APAC and India. You will lead the next phase of YipitData's Talent Acquisition function as Head of Talent Acquisition, managing a team of approximately seven recruiting professionals. This is a strategic leadership role focused on transforming and scaling the recruiting organization. Key Responsibilities: Change Management & Transformation: Assess the current TA organization, processes, and ways of working to identify what should be preserved, improved, simplified, or redesigned. Define and execute a roadmap for the next phase of Talent Acquisition, prioritizing high-impact changes. Lead the organization through change by building stakeholder alignment, navigating resistance, and driving adoption of new processes. Strengthen partnerships across Talent Acquisition, People, hiring managers, and business leaders. Recruiting Leadership & Strategy: Lead, coach, and develop the recruiting team with clear expectations, accountability, and growth opportunities. Serve as a strategic talent advisor to senior leaders, bringing recruiting expertise and market insights. Evolve approaches to proactive sourcing, talent pipelining, and market mapping. Provide strategic oversight for senior-level, executive, and business-critical searches. Operational Excellence & Scale: Establish clear recruiting processes, operating rhythms, SLAs, and ownership. Build meaningful metrics, dashboards, forecasting, and capacity planning. Own and optimize the recruiting technology ecosystem, including ATS, automation, and AI-enabled tools. Identify root causes and bottlenecks, implementing scalable solutions for continuous improvement. The role is fully remote within the US, though candidates may be based in NYC (headquarters), Austin, Miami, Mountain View, Denver, Seattle, or anywhere else in the US. Note that remote work performed outside company office hubs may be subject to New York State tax withholding. Requirements: - 10+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience, including significant experience leading and developing recruiting teams in high-growth or evolving organizations - Proven track record of successfully inheriting and transforming an existing recruiting function, operating model, or set of processes - Experience supporting hiring across multiple functions (technical, sales/GTM, finance, professional services) with exposure to senior and executive hiring - Strategic operator and influential change agent who uses data and business judgment to identify root causes, prioritize, and drive stakeholder alignment - Strong recruiting operations and technology expertise, including experience with Greenhouse or comparable ATS; understanding of how technology and AI improve recruiting effectiveness - US work authorization required; visa sponsorship not available
