Binance is seeking a Head of Risk to lead the company's risk management function across its global cryptocurrency exchange and blockchain ecosystem. This VP-level role oversees enterprise risk strategy, including market risk, operational risk, compliance risk, and counterparty risk management. The Head of Risk will establish risk frameworks, policies, and controls to protect Binance's 300+ million users and institutional clients across 100+ countries. Responsibilities include building and managing a risk team, developing risk assessment methodologies, monitoring key risk indicators, and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions. The role requires deep expertise in financial services risk management, cryptocurrency/digital asset risk, and the ability to operate in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment. The successful candidate will partner closely with trading, operations, compliance, and executive leadership to balance innovation with prudent risk management. This position is based in Dubai and reports to senior executive leadership.
