Lead Innovaccer's payer product portfolio as Head of Product, Payer Solutions, reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer. This is a senior leadership role with broad organizational scope spanning AI applications in IT, financial, and clinical operations for health plans.
You will own end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for Galaxy, Innovaccer's payer solution covering risk adjustment, quality management, payment integrity, and utilization management. The role combines strategic product leadership with direct commercial accountability and personal selling responsibility.
Key responsibilities include: defining Galaxy's AI-first product strategy and roadmap across new use cases, payer segments, and regulatory areas; building and owning the go-to-market plan including target segments, buyer personas, and sales motion; leading a team of product managers to develop world-class products with startup agility; personally pitching and closing strategic deals with payer CXOs; partnering with engineering, data science, design, and clinical operations; owning critical business metrics (pipeline, bookings, retention, adoption); and serving as Galaxy's most visible external voice with customers, at industry conferences, and in analyst conversations.
You should have 8+ years in product, strategy, or general management with a proven track record of launching new products or businesses from early stage through market establishment. Required qualifications include entrepreneurial founder-operator mindset with P&L ownership experience, demonstrated ability to personally sell and negotiate with senior executives, payer domain fluency (risk adjustment, quality/Stars, utilization management, or value-based care), comfort owning business outcomes beyond roadmaps, track record building high-performing cross-functional teams, exceptional executive presence and communication skills, and ability to operate in ambiguity.
Nice-to-have experience includes prior health plan/payer sales, competing against or partnering with payer point vendors, scaling health-tech businesses from early revenue to market position, direct P&L ownership at startups, and familiarity with agentic AI or AI-native healthcare product architectures.
