DeepL is seeking a Head of Product Growth to lead the company's product-led growth (PLG) strategy alongside its sales-led motion. You will be responsible for driving adoption of DeepL Translate globally, converting product usage into high-quality Product Qualified Leads (PQLs) that feed the sales pipeline, and expanding adoption across adjacent products like DeepL Voice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing use-case strategy for media translation and building growth loops to drive adoption within DeepL's web, browser extension, and mobile apps.
- Defining what constitutes a strong PQL for media translation, implementing instrumentation to detect these signals, and designing clean handoffs to the sales team.
- Designing and executing growth loops that help users discover and adopt additional features and products, expanding usage depth and breadth.
- Cross-functional coordination with Marketing (funnel design, messaging, PQL feedback), Sales/Sales Ops (PQL definition and handoff), and Pricing & Packaging teams.
- Owning metrics and leading indicators including platform usage, feature adoption, cross-sell conversion, and open-source adoption, with rigorous attribution to business outcomes (pipeline, revenue, retention).
You are a hands-on builder who can prototype quickly, test with real users, and scale what works. You have a proven track record building or scaling PLG motions that feed sales organizations, with direct experience owning PQL definition and handoff. You excel at stakeholder management across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering without owning their roadmaps. You have experience growing adoption in consumer/prosumer products (web, extensions, apps) and designing growth loops for feature discovery and expansion. Experience with open-source community strategy in ML/AI is valued.
