As Head of Product, you will own the complete product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Range's platform, including the AI-powered wealth manager and tools for advisors and members. Your responsibilities include defining end-to-end product strategy across member experience, AI-driven wealth management capabilities, and advisor-facing tools; partnering with engineering, design, and leadership to translate company strategy into a prioritized product plan; and collaborating with financial planners and advisors to ensure product decisions reflect real workflows, member needs, and regulatory requirements.
You will drive the roadmap for AI-powered features such as predictive planning, proactive recommendations, and tax optimization, balancing automation with human expertise. You'll define and track key metrics representing product strategy and progress to executives, the board, and investors. Additionally, you'll hire, grow, and lead a product team from the ground up while maintaining startup speed and scrappiness.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of product management experience, including leadership at Head/VP/Senior Director level. A track record building consumer or prosumer products in fintech, wealthtech, or regulated industries is essential, with wealth management or financial planning experience as a strong plus. You should have demonstrated experience shipping AI/ML-powered features as core product functionality and sharp instincts for balancing automation with human-in-the-loop design in high-trust, high-stakes decisions. Proven ability to hire and grow product teams while operating with startup agility is required.
Range operates in-office Monday through Friday at its McLean, VA headquarters, with relocation support available for qualified candidates.
