As Head of Product, you will own the product and design function end-to-end, leading a small senior team of two product managers and one design lead. You'll partner closely with the founding team and engineering to drive strategy, prioritization, and execution. Key responsibilities include: (1) Strategy and prioritization—translating competing customer demands into a coherent roadmap, making clear decisions about what not to build; (2) Predictable delivery—ensuring the team ships committed work on time and at quality, increasing velocity without sacrificing standards; (3) AI-native product development—embedding AI into both the product and team operations, optimizing for impact with lean headcount; (4) Team leadership—coaching and developing two PMs and a design lead, raising craft standards, and building the function; (5) Cross-functional partnership—maintaining crisp decision rights with founders and clear communication with GTM on timelines and capabilities. You should be a hands-on operator comfortable in customer calls and code reviews alike. You thrive on action and finishing, use AI as a core thinking and building tool, and operate with structured frameworks and clear writing. You're relentlessly customer-focused with a system for separating signal from noise. You're technical enough to read codebases, suggest credible alternatives to engineers, and understand tech-debt tradeoffs. You communicate with unusual clarity across time zones and partner with founders as a peer—challenging assumptions while committing fully once decisions are made. Ideal candidates have led product at growth-stage software companies, with bonus experience in research, data, or developer tools.
