Great Question is an AI-powered customer research platform that enables teams to recruit participants, run research, and share insights in one unified workspace. Trusted by leading companies like Gusto, Experian, Canva, and Brex, the company is backed by world-class investors and is redefining how organizations understand their customers.
As Head of Product, you will own product strategy and design end-to-end, leading a small, senior team of two product managers and a design lead. You'll partner closely with the founding team and engineering to drive the product vision forward. This is a hands-on role where you're equally comfortable in customer calls, strategy debates with founders, and reviewing pull requests.
Key responsibilities include: (1) Strategy and prioritization—translating competing customer demands into a coherent set of bets, deciding what not to do as clearly as what to do; (2) Predictable delivery—ensuring the team ships what it commits to, on time and at quality, at an increasing pace; (3) AI-native product development—building AI into both the product and how the team operates, maximizing impact with lean headcount; (4) Team leadership—coaching and developing two PMs and a design lead, raising the craft bar, and growing the function; (5) Cross-functional partnership—maintaining crisp decision rights with founders and clear communication to GTM on roadmap and timelines.
You thrive on action and finishing. You're genuinely AI-native, using AI as part of how you think, build, and operate. You think in structured bets, make decisions with frameworks, and are willing to be wrong and move quickly. You're relentlessly close to customers with a system for separating signal from noise. You're technical enough to read codebases, wire up tooling, and hold credible conversations with engineers about trade-offs. You communicate with unusual clarity, especially across time zones. You've led product at a growth-stage software company, ideally in research, data, or developer tools. You partner with founders as a peer—challenging assumptions, making recommendations, and committing fully once decisions are made.
