WeTravel is a global operating system for multi-day travel businesses (safaris, scuba diving trips, adventure tours, etc.), serving 10,000+ operators managing $3B in annual travel sales. The company provides end-to-end solutions for sales management, payment collection, and back-office operations, with a powerful payment stack and AI-enabled tools helping travel businesses grow sales and reduce costs.
You will lead the entire payment products and monetization strategy at WeTravel, reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer. This is a dual-mandate role: build a $10B+ fintech stack and scale the monetization engine around payments and payment-related upsells, which together represent over 80% of company revenue.
Your scope covers the complete money flow at WeTravel—from signup and KYB/KYC through travelers paying organizers, organizers paying suppliers and themselves, and the financial OS experience layered on top. You'll work weekly with the CEO and COO on company strategy and own many business outcomes. You have a significant distribution advantage: 150 sales reps and account managers across five continents are eager to sell what you build. Additionally, vertical AI SaaS players serving the same multi-day travel audience are part of the same company, enabling seamless collaboration rather than external partnerships.
This is a high-impact role at a company with strong product-market fit globally and a clear path to scale from $3B to $10B+ in payment volume. You'll be building a global category winner in vertical fintech for the travel industry.
