Kinter builds AI agents for mid-market finance teams, automating repetitive, judgment-heavy work like prepaid accounting, accruals, payroll, and reconciliation. The company is a lean, product-centric team of ~30 people backed by a16z, Bain Capital Ventures, and Y Combinator, having launched their product a few months ago.
You will own the marketing strategy and execution across paid, content, events, and outbound, with a primary focus on building a pipeline engine that drives qualified leads and revenue. You'll work directly with the demand gen manager and brand/design lead (the current two-person team), rolling up your sleeves on execution while growing the team thoughtfully as results justify it.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning pipeline strategy and defining the go-to-market approach across all channels
- Building and refining the demand generation engine in close collaboration with the sales team and CRO
- Establishing marketing ops foundations for accurate performance tracking and attribution
- Creating market positioning and content that differentiates Kinter from legacy automation and point solutions
- Managing and coaching a small team of two, setting priorities and staying close to execution
- Staying close to the market, competitors, and buyer personas (finance and accounting leaders) to keep messaging sharp
The role emphasizes hands-on execution over title or team size managed previously. You'll operate in a fast-moving environment where a launchable campaign this week beats a polished plan that takes a quarter. The company values fearlessness, precision in targeting and attribution, deep customer obsession, and direct communication about what's working and what isn't.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Successful track record of B2B SaaS marketing leadership owning pipeline and revenue results, ideally at an early-stage or startup company
- Experience aligning marketing tightly with a sales-led GTM motion, including outbound
- Bias toward hands-on execution; comfortable being one of a small number of marketers doing the work yourself, not just directing
- Ability to see the big picture while being skilled enough to run all of marketing and hire for it
- Exceptional leadership skills: hiring, onboarding, coaching, and getting teams excited to move fast
- Strong instincts for brand, content, and product marketing
- Bonus: experience marketing fintech, accounting, finance software, or AI/AI-native products
