The Head of KYC will lead and oversee the Group's KYC function across global businesses, reporting to the Head of AML. This role drives effective implementation and continuous enhancement of the Group's KYC framework, ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices. The Head of KYC oversees onboarding and KYC fulfillment teams based in Singapore and the Group's offshore center of excellence, working closely with the Head of AML and Group Chief Compliance Officer to strengthen the client due diligence framework while supporting scalable and efficient onboarding processes. Key responsibilities include leading the Group's KYC function across multiple jurisdictions (client onboarding, periodic reviews, name screening, account maintenance); supporting development and enhancement of KYC framework, policies, and procedures; driving KYC-related compliance initiatives and operational improvements; overseeing execution of the AML/CFT framework; managing relationships with third-party AML/KYC technology vendors; monitoring regulatory developments and supporting regulatory engagements and audits; preparing KYC metrics, dashboards, and management reporting; providing guidance and training to internal stakeholders; and supporting ad-hoc compliance initiatives and enterprise-wide risk assessments. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Law, Accountancy, Business Administration, or related discipline, with 8+ years of experience in AML/KYC or compliance within a financial institution, fintech, or digital asset company. Required qualifications include strong understanding of AML/CFT regulations and KYC standards across multiple jurisdictions; proven experience managing KYC onboarding and client due diligence at scale in global or high-growth environments; strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities; excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; and excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
