Revolut is seeking a Head of Internal Audit to lead the internal audit function for its Peruvian operations. This is a critical role within the Risk and Compliance organization, responsible for developing and executing a risk-based audit plan, performing internal audits across key operational areas, and providing assurance over governance and control frameworks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining a risk-based audit plan focused on Peruvian entity operations, including technology, payments, operational resilience, and third-party risk management
- Executing end-to-end internal audits aligned with global audit methodology
- Performing risk assessments and audit planning activities to identify and prioritize key risks
- Leveraging data analytics to inform risk understanding, test controls, and deliver insights to the business
- Presenting audit findings and recommendations to senior management and the Board
- Managing stakeholder relationships with C-suite executives (CEO, Chief Risk Officer, Chief Compliance Officer) and operational leaders
- Responding to regulatory inquiries regarding internal audit coverage and results
- Overseeing management action plans and validating remediation efforts
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in audit-related roles within regulated financial services
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and overseeing internal audit execution
- Expertise in risk-based internal audit planning and risk assessments
- Strong presentation and communication skills for senior management and board-level engagement
- Knowledge of global regulatory guidelines and Peruvian regulatory expectations
- Familiarity with audit topics including financial crime, payments, and third-party risk management
- Ability to challenge and influence stakeholders effectively
Desirable qualifications include audit experience at foreign financial institutions operating in Peru, data analysis skills (SQL/Python), experience in fast-paced environments, and relevant certifications (CPA, CIA, ACAMS).
