Datadog is seeking a Head of Enterprise Sales to lead and expand the Strategic Enterprise and Public Sector business in Japan. This is a strategic, data-driven leadership role responsible for building and managing the enterprise sales organization, driving pipeline creation, deal progression, and multi-product expansion for Datadog's largest customers in the region.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building, recruiting, and developing the enterprise sales team in Japan
- Owning revenue targets for Strategic Enterprise and Public Sector segments; leading quarterly and annual goal achievement
- Developing and executing enterprise growth strategies encompassing new customer acquisition, platform expansion, and multi-product adoption
- Advancing sales operations through pipeline creation, forecast management, deal reviews, and account strategy
- Supporting leadership and sales teams on complex, multi-stakeholder deals
- Optimizing sales models and strategies to improve win rates, deal velocity, and productivity
- Coaching teams on value selling, executive engagement, and high-impact sales activities
- Building a team culture centered on collaboration, accountability, and customer focus
- Serving as executive sponsor for Datadog's most strategic customers
- Developing next-generation leaders and driving succession planning
- Building long-term partnerships with ecosystem partners and alliances
