Roblox is seeking a Head of Developer Relations to own strategy, execution, and outcomes for developer growth across Southeast Asia and Oceania. You will work directly with publishers, developers, emerging studios, and industry partners to drive adoption, accelerate development, and build long-term ecosystem relationships. This is a strategic leadership role where you'll represent Roblox at industry events and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Creator, and International teams to scale Roblox as a destination for high-quality game development.
Key responsibilities include: setting team goals and monitoring progress with key partners; partnering with data scientists, product, and engineering leaders across the company; serving as the voice of partners by identifying and quantifying critical action items that impact product growth in the region; communicating regional risk factors and making difficult decisions; and actively sharing reports to reflect the impact of your work.
You will be expected to lead by example, building clear high-level strategy and holding yourself and others accountable to the long-term company vision. The role requires proactive stakeholder communication, data-driven decision-making informed by product usage and qualitative user insights, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Office-based roles require onsite presence Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Residency in Singapore or willingness to relocate
- 10+ years of experience in technical project management
- Ability to proactively communicate with all key stakeholders
- Experience launching a technical product in international markets
- Experience with Roblox Studio or another game development engine (Unity, Unreal, etc.)
- Research skills to quickly ramp up and understand target audience needs
- Passionate with positive energy; role model to others
- Driven by teamwork and naturally encourages collaboration
- Self-directed with ability to establish work and processes
- Advanced educational degree or equivalent practical experience
