This individual holds the primary regulatory relationship with the Central Bank of Ireland and ensures TrueLayer remains fully aligned with evolving regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include: serving as the primary point of contact for the CBI and EU authorities, managing all regulatory engagements and filings; defining and executing the compliance roadmap and overseeing the firm's compliance framework, policies, and controls; providing the Board and Executive team with guidance on regulatory requirements and compliance implications of business developments; overseeing second-line compliance monitoring programs to ensure controls function effectively; maintaining and enhancing the firm's compliance policies; overseeing regulatory reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness; developing and overseeing comprehensive compliance training programs to embed a culture of compliance; monitoring the European and Irish regulatory landscapes for legislative shifts; collaborating on AML/CFT processes, sanctions, and fraud prevention; and serving as the primary compliance lead for internal audits and third-party engagements. The ideal candidate demonstrates a can-do attitude with willingness to be hands-on in a scaling environment, operates effectively within management teams and with Board-level stakeholders, proactively identifies improvement areas, and is comfortable building processes from the ground up. Particularly valuable experience includes managing third-party service delivery aligned with CBI and DORA regulatory mandates, implementing outsourcing and operational resilience frameworks, deploying AI-driven tools to optimize workflows, and scaling regulated operational infrastructure in fast-paced fintech environments.
