Mesh is seeking a Head of Card Product to own the end-to-end launch and growth of a crypto-to-card payment program. The role combines product leadership, regulatory expertise, and financial services acumen to solve a critical problem: enabling consumers to spend cryptocurrency at everyday merchants worldwide.
You will be the single accountable owner of the card program, responsible for its consumer experience, bank partnerships, network relationships, and compliance framework. This is hands-on work that requires earning the confidence of banks, networks, and regulators across multiple markets. You'll navigate KYC, AML, fraud prevention, disputes, and edge cases of money movement—writing the specificity that banks sign off on.
Key responsibilities include: designing the consumer experience (wallet provisioning, on-device confirmation, transaction recovery); building distribution through wallet partners like MetaMask, Trust Wallet, and Phantom; managing bank and network relationships; and defining the strategic roadmap for new programs, networks, and geographies.
You should have shipped a regulated financial product through a bank partner or regulator (card programs, lending, banking, or money movement products are ideal). Deep compliance fluency is essential—you've earned sign-offs from banks or regulators on KYC, AML, transaction monitoring, and fraud controls. Consumer product experience in payments or fintech with measurable outcomes (volume, activation, retention, P&L) is required. Mobile payments expertise (secure element/enclave integration, push provisioning, token requestor work) is a strong plus. Familiarity with crypto wallets and ideally prior crypto product experience rounds out the profile. You should leverage AI daily for documentation, economic modeling, and operational automation.
