Tabby, a rapidly growing BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later) fintech company, is seeking a Head of Anti-Fraud to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive fraud risk management strategy. This is a key leadership position responsible for safeguarding the platform and customers from fraudulent activities while ensuring compliance with SAMA (Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority) regulations. Key responsibilities include: - Developing and executing an anti-fraud strategy aligned with SAMA Anti-Fraud Rules - Utilizing data analysis, statistical modeling, and fraud detection tools to identify suspicious patterns and anomalies in financial transactions - Implementing and managing monitoring systems to detect and investigate potential fraud incidents - Conducting required investigations and managing anti-fraud risk in accordance with regulations, policies, and procedures - Preparing anti-fraud reports for the Board of Directors - Serving as the primary point of contact with SAMA regulators, presenting the company's anti-fraud unit, strategies, policies, processes, and metrics - Collaborating with the credit risk team to establish and continuously enhance fraud prevention, mitigation, and detection rules and scenarios - Creating internal awareness programs on fraud risks across the organization - Researching emerging fraud trends in BNPL, digital financing, payments, and fintech sectors, working with risk and product teams to implement mitigation systems - Conducting periodic assessments of monitoring rules to validate the effectiveness of fraud detection and prevention systems Required qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or related technical field - 8+ years of fraud prevention experience (fintech experience highly valued) - Proven track record leading end-to-end standardization of fraud risk identification and detection procedures - Experience working with SAMA regulations - Strong analytical and data capabilities - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to lead interactions with both business and technical teams - Structured problem-solving approach with strong quantitative skills - Comfort working in ambiguous environments with intellectual curiosity Desired skills: SQL, Python, and visualization technologies such as Tableau.
