Granola is an AI-powered notepad for teams in back-to-back meetings, functioning as a shared workspace for capturing, organizing, and acting on information. The company is scaling and seeks a GTM Systems Lead to own the technology infrastructure supporting Sales, Customer Success, and leadership.
In this hands-on role, you will design and evolve Granola's go-to-market technology stack, taking responsibility for how tools integrate, what gets built versus purchased, and how data flows across systems. You'll report to the Head of RevOps and work closely with Sales, CS, and Data teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and evolving the GTM stack architecture, making build-versus-buy decisions aligned with growth priorities
- Owning the technical architecture of Attio (the CRM), including data models, objects, workflows, and integrations
- Building and maintaining integrations across Attio, Apollo, Cal.com, Tally, Polytomic, and downstream data systems
- Assessing new tools and vendors, improving or replacing underperforming solutions
- Identifying automation and AI opportunities to streamline Sales and CS workflows
- Ensuring system reliability through troubleshooting, governance, documentation, and IT partnership
- Understanding team workflows deeply to build systems that solve real operational problems
You'll move beyond routine CRM administration to architect how the entire system works, with hands-on implementation early on but strategic ownership throughout.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated experience designing, building, and owning systems for growing commercial teams; hands-on experience matters more than years or specific CRM familiarity
- Sound judgment on system architecture, priorities, and build-versus-buy decisions, with ability to communicate rationale to non-technical stakeholders
- Technical depth beyond tool administration: experience building integrations, working with APIs, webhooks, and code; SQL, Python, or JavaScript proficiency preferred
- Understanding of CRM data models, routing, enrichment, and operational practices for reliable data flow
- Willingness to execute implementation work while thinking strategically about stack evolution
- Curiosity about AI-powered GTM workflows; prior experience building them is a plus but not required
- Collaborative, low-ego approach; ability to work through complex requests, challenge assumptions constructively, and ship usable solutions
- No requirement to have used Attio or specific tools; focus is on what you've built, your systems thinking, and how you'd apply experience here
