Salary: USD 175,000 - 240,000 / annual
Axial Networks is a 15+ year-old platform transforming small and mid-market business M&A. Founded in 2009, Axial serves over 10,000 private M&A participants—private equity firms, corporate acquirers, investment banks, and business owners—and in 2025 powered exits for roughly half of the U.S. SMB M&A market ($5M–$100M revenue), facilitating over 1 million buyer-seller connections across 12,500+ deals.
The Growth team is rethinking how Axial attracts, educates, and converts the next generation of business owners, buyers, and M&A professionals. The growth engine focuses on inbound, organic channels: SEO and AI-powered answer engines (AEO), website conversion optimization, free tools and data products (calculators, market intelligence), content and media (newsletters, blog, podcast, social), and product-led growth strategies.
As Growth Product Manager for Web & Acquisition, you will own Axial's website products and broader digital growth roadmap—including the website, free tools, data products, and demand generation experiences across core audiences. This is a substantial individual contributor role with broad cross-functional exposure spanning strategy, execution, and measurement.
Key responsibilities:
- Own growth across three core outcomes: total qualified leads, business owner acquisition, and buyer acquisition. Success measured through audience expansion, qualified leads, new member growth, and reach/utility of proprietary market intelligence.
- Execute end-to-end website and growth product roadmap—scoping, coordination, QA, and launch.
- Drive organic traffic and conversion through SEO, AEO, and on-page optimization across programmatic and editorial experiences.
- Establish clear measurement plans for experiments and releases; maintain recurring analytics practice across traffic, conversion, acquisition, and engagement; diagnose results and shape future priorities.
- Develop a clear point of view on Axial's most important growth opportunities and translate into focused quarterly roadmaps. Balance big, high-conviction bets with incremental optimizations; pressure-test priorities with leadership and retained growth consultant.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to independently prototype, build, and launch pages, tools, experiments, and lightweight features. Apply AI across copywriting, design iteration, data analysis, prototyping, and QA.
Reports to Nick Coetzee, VP Growth & Operations. Hybrid role: Tuesday–Thursday in office; exceptional remote candidates considered.
