Teamup is a customizable shared calendar platform used by 5 million people monthly to organize schedules, resources, and teams—from room bookings to complex field crew job scheduling. Banyan Software, a permanent-capital software holding company founded in 2016, acquired Teamup and is seeking a Growth Product Manager to drive the company's expansion.
This is Teamup's first dedicated growth product manager role, reporting directly to the CEO. You will own the full growth funnel: time-to-value for new admins (from signup through their first shared calendar), activation metrics and reporting, the viewer-to-admin conversion loop (including mobile), the free-to-paid upgrade path, an AI-powered onboarding agent, and the experiment cadence that determines what ships.
You will work as a full-stack operator alongside engineers and the support team. Your responsibilities include:
• Conducting weekly customer conversations and analyzing support tickets to identify friction points
• Building prototypes to rapidly test growth hypotheses
• Writing production code with AI assistance, opening pull requests, and shipping to production
• Designing interfaces and flows using AI tools
• Instrumenting the funnel, building analytics dashboards, and writing SQL queries to measure impact
• Owning key metrics: activation rate, time-to-value, viewer-to-admin conversion, and free-to-paid conversion
You will be a self-starter who identifies problems, builds solutions, and ships independently while collaborating closely with engineering and support. The role is fully remote and based in the US Eastern time zone.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 5+ years of growth or product experience at self-serve software companies (sign-up and pay without sales)
• Proven track record building and shipping products yourself
• Hands-on ownership of onboarding, activation, upgrade paths, or in-product sharing loops with measurable results
• Ability to write production code with AI, open pull requests, write SQL, and instrument analytics events
• Experience designing with AI tools
• Strong customer empathy; ability to stay close to users and iterate based on feedback
• Self-starter mentality; comfortable working independently alongside engineering and support teams
• Experience at early-stage companies or as an early hire
• Fast execution mindset
