Float is Canada's intelligent financial operating system, combining modern financial services and software to help businesses spend, save, and grow. The company is one of Canada's fastest-growing startups, backed by top-tier investors including Inovia Capital, Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, and OMERS Ventures. Float recently raised $85 million in Series C funding and serves over 7,500 Canadian companies with corporate cards, automated expense management, bill payments, and high-yield accounts.
As Growth Product Manager, you will own Float's self-serve acquisition and activation experience end-to-end, from first customer touch through reaching their first moment of value. You'll drive a high-volume experimentation program across the acquisition surface, deciding what to test, how to test it, and interpreting results. Your mandate includes proving new acquisition channels—whether referral motions, partner channels, or new customer segments—while dramatically accelerating how fast the team learns and iterates.
This is a hands-on, high-velocity role. You'll work embedded within the engineering team's day-to-day operations rather than managing from above, shipping small changes constantly, and leveraging AI to prototype, test, and learn faster than typical teams. You'll prioritize a backlog that always exceeds capacity, defend every prioritization decision, and synthesize inputs from product, engineering, design, risk, operations, and go-to-market into one coherent plan. You'll also share learnings across the company so other teams can act on insights.
You bring 4+ years of product management experience with meaningful time on growth, self-serve, or product-led surfaces. You have hands-on experimentation experience—you've personally run tests on live products and can point to measurable outcomes. You're fluent with multiple experiment types and have strong judgment about which approach fits each question. You have sharp prioritization instincts backed by reasoning you can explain and defend, and you care deeply about product craft, user experience, and doing things well. You act like an owner, think big while moving fast, constantly learn and grow, and win as a team.
