Cadana is seeking a Growth Operations Lead to serve as the Chief of Staff for a portfolio of key client accounts. This is a hybrid role combining account ownership, project management, and operations expertise—not a traditional sales or support function.
You will own client relationships end-to-end, acting as the single point of contact for questions spanning compliance, contractual, and technical domains. Your responsibilities include:
• Full portfolio ownership of key client accounts with holistic visibility across compliance, growth, and product
• New client launches: coordinating KYB and compliance flows, entity documentation, and go-live readiness across legal, compliance, and engineering teams
• Contract and legal coordination: reviewing counter-redlines, liability clauses, and flagging commercial implications before they become blockers
• Account management for ramping clients: tracking commercials, resolving operational issues, and ensuring clean scaling paths
• Cross-functional deliverables: Plan of Action documents, compliance information packets, and localized platform materials as client needs evolve
• Net-new pipeline support: following up with prospective partners and moving them through evaluation and onboarding
• Internal escalation point: partnering with legal, compliance, and engineering to resolve non-standard issues
Cadana's growth model operates on consultative selling and deep partnership rather than traditional vendor-to-client dynamics. You'll work closely with the Head of Growth with visibility into new launches, ramping accounts, and pipeline. The work is highly cross-functional, spanning legal, regulatory, and technical domains simultaneously, with expectation that you drive resolution directly rather than routing elsewhere.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 4+ years of experience in account management, client operations, or growth roles specifically within global payroll, cross-border payments, or fintech/HR-tech infrastructure companies
• Demonstrated experience operating across legal/contractual, compliance/regulatory, and technical domains—not just relationship management (e.g., actual contract review, compliance coordination, technical integration work)
• Track record of owning client relationships end-to-end as the primary point of contact, not shared account coverage or support-desk functions
• Ability and willingness to work primarily on US Eastern Time business hours, regardless of physical location
• Fully remote-capable with reliable setup and comfort in async/distributed teams
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
NICE-TO-HAVE:
• Prior experience at peer companies in global payroll, payments, or workforce infrastructure (e.g., Deel, Stripe, Remote, Airwallex)
• Startup or early-stage company experience with ability to build playbooks from scratch
• Track record of demonstrated excellence (rapid promotions, competitive academic/athletic background, or similar)
• Additional language fluency given global account base
