You will own growth marketing campaigns across every paid channel: paid social, search, email, web, and out-of-home advertising. This is a hands-on, high-output role where you write ads, build landing pages, launch tests, analyze results the next morning, kill underperforming campaigns, and double down on winners. Success is measured on candidate generation and qualified conversations, not spend or impressions.
The primary audience is technical—software and AI engineers, plus machinists, welders, and skilled technicians. Standard growth tactics will not work; you will need to rebuild approaches for these specialized audiences.
Key responsibilities include:
**Digital Campaigns**: Own paid campaigns end-to-end across social, search, and programmatic. Write and ship high volumes of ad variants, landing pages, and email sequences. Run continuous testing on audiences, creative, offers, and landing pages with clear performance bars. Own the campaign side of the website including landing pages, conversion paths, form flows, and the application funnel.
**Out-of-Home Buying**: Own OOH buying end-to-end including market and inventory selection, vendor negotiation, rates, contracting, trafficking specs, and posting verification. Manage the OOH production timeline backwards from artwork deadlines, accounting for print, install lead times, and approvals. Build measurement approaches using geo-based comparisons, lift studies, and scan-through destinations.
**Reporting & Analytics**: Build and maintain reporting on what is working, including spend, funnel performance by channel and market, cost per qualified applicant, and cost per hire. Instrument properly with tracking, UTMs, conversion events, and integrations between the website, ad platforms, and applicant tracking system. Report honestly on underperformance and attribution uncertainty.
**Cross-Company Partnership**: Work with recruiting to align campaigns to live requisitions and hiring priorities. Partner with design and content on creative, providing performance feedback. Coordinate with communications on public-facing materials.
**Requirements**: 4+ years in growth, performance, or digital marketing with direct hands-on ownership of paid campaigns and budget. You must be the person in the ad accounts, not receiving reports. You write copy, build pages, set up tracking, and launch campaigns yourself. You are fluent in funnel math and can distinguish real results from noise. You have gotten results without large budgets or agencies and prefer running multiple cheap tests to one expensive campaign. You are comfortable with ambiguity, building infrastructure and processes from scratch, and operating in environments where not everything is cleanly attributable.
**Nice-to-Have Experience**: Recruitment marketing or employer brand campaigns targeting engineering or skilled-trade audiences. Hands-on out-of-home experience including vendor negotiation and production timeline realities. Marketing to skeptical technical audiences. SQL, spreadsheets, or lightweight scripting. Applicant tracking system integrations and recruiting funnel reporting. Track record in hard technology, defense, industrials, or similar categories.
**ITAR Requirement**: Must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
