Campus is building the marketing function to help students discover, choose, and enroll in educational programs. This hands-on Growth Marketing Manager role sits at the intersection of organic search and paid digital marketing, reporting to the Sr. Manager, Performance & Lifecycle Marketing. You will own two major areas: PAID MEDIA (50%): Manage and optimize paid campaigns for select programs on Meta and Google Ads, inheriting existing campaigns rather than building from scratch. You'll support enrollment and application goals by coordinating with lifecycle and social teams, contribute to conversion rate optimization by identifying funnel opportunities, and pull/interpret campaign performance data to surface insights quickly. SEO AND AEO (50%): Own organic search strategy and execution end-to-end, including keyword research, content planning, technical SEO priorities, and on-page optimization. You'll create content yourself (blog posts, landing pages, program pages) and coordinate content from faculty, staff, and students. You'll build and manage SEO/AEO reporting in SEMrush, translating rank tracking and traffic analysis into business decisions. You'll work with product and engineering on technical SEO improvements (Core Web Vitals, schema, crawl coverage, site architecture) and drive link building through outreach and content placement. You'll stay current on AEO best practices and structure content for AI search visibility. This is a fast-paced role where you'll write content, pull reports, build campaigns, coordinate across teams, and use AI tools heavily while maintaining quality. REQUIREMENTS: - Hands-on experience managing campaigns in Meta Ads and Google Ads (not just reviewing reports) - 3+ years of SEO experience in a fast-paced or startup environment, with at least 1 year in a strategic capacity (setting direction, not just executing tasks) - Strong working knowledge of GA4 and Google Search Console (setting up tracking, building reports, understanding data) - Experience with SEMrush or comparable SEO platform - Strong writing ability; can produce clear, on-brand content independently STRONG PLUS: - Experience in consumer-facing, enrollment-driven, or SaaS environments - Familiarity with AEO and structured content for AI search visibility - Experience coordinating content contributors across a team or organization
