You will own the Growth Lead role for Europe's institutional markets, based in London. This is a founding regional sales position where you will build the client acquisition and partnerships strategy from the ground up rather than inherit an existing book. You will own end-to-end responsibility for regional revenue and margin targets, from initial prospecting through contract close and active client deployment.
Key responsibilities include: building and executing the client acquisition strategy across OpenFX's multi-product solution; leading and closing strategic, multi-million-dollar deals with banks, fintechs, payment service providers, exchanges, and remittance players; running a disciplined pipeline and forecast in the CRM with clear visibility to leadership; building trusted relationships with C-suite executives (Founders, CEOs, CFOs, Treasurers, Heads of Payments) across the region; and serving as a brand ambassador and thought leader for OpenFX in Europe, including speaking on industry panels and forums. You will also bring market intelligence and client insights back to the product and strategy teams to help shape the OpenFX roadmap.
The role is positioned at the front line of the business, engaging strategic accounts and bridging traditional finance with digital assets. Europe is strategically critical—the region drives nearly half of global FX trading and benefits from the EU's MiCA regulation for stablecoins, creating a clear regulatory foundation for institutional adoption.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must haves:
- 5+ years of B2B sales and/or partnerships experience in financial services, payments, or digital assets in Europe
- Proven track record of originating and closing complex deals with C-level buyers across Europe
- Deep understanding of end-to-end enterprise sales processes
- Strong network across the region's financial institutions, fintechs, and payment companies
- Track record of meeting or exceeding ambitious revenue targets
- Ability to operate in fast-paced environments with comfort for ambiguity and changing conditions
- Builder mindset with ability to set up scalable processes and practices
What helps you stand out:
- Experience in payments, FX trading, treasury, or fintech
- Experience with stablecoins, digital assets, or crypto infrastructure
- Familiarity with local European regulation
- Proficiency in French or German
