Numeric is seeking a Growth Lead to establish the demand generation engine for their Financial Data Platform (FDP), a fundamentally reimagined ERP replacement that modernizes centuries-old accounting practices. This is the first senior growth hire at the company, positioned at a pivotal moment as the FDP gains market traction.
You will report to Numeric's Head of Marketing and serve as a player-coach, initially managing 2-3 direct reports with plans to expand the growth function over time. Your responsibilities include:
- Build and lead a high-performing growth team, setting quality standards for editing, feedback, and coaching while modeling excellence through your own deliverables.
- Map campaigns and channels to pipeline growth across products, working closely with the existing BDR motion to convert market attention into qualified pipeline.
- Develop and execute an enterprise ABM strategy to penetrate target accounts.
- Own paid channel strategy and serve as the chief experimenter, working with agency partners to optimize performance.
- Partner with product marketing and content teams to create feedback loops and share growth learnings across the organization.
- Establish a clear point of view on growth strategy as AI reshapes the discipline, ensuring Numeric remains at the forefront of marketing innovation.
Numeric recently closed an $81M Series B led by IVP, Menlo, and Founders Fund. The company is tackling the financial data infrastructure market—a massive, durable arena where the accounting database has remained constrained by legacy journal-entry models. Numeric's vision is to make the financial system of record also the system of decision, enabling every role at every company to make better, real-time decisions with their financial data.
You'll experience the testing and building-from-scratch typical of a Seed/Series A role for a newer product, while also inheriting working demand gen motions, hundreds of happy customers, and strong product marketing and content teams to support your work.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of experience, with 5+ years specifically in growth marketing.
- Proven track record owning growth end-to-end—defining what to work on, not just executing against someone else's plan.
- Experience marketing technical B2B products (not purely consumer).
- Strong editing and coaching skills; demonstrated ability to raise the quality of work and people around you.
- Blend of analytical and creative thinking; comfort with both spreadsheets and conceptual ideation.
- Collaborative mindset; you care about your work, the company, and the people around you.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience in both smaller start-up settings (Series A/Seed) and scaled companies (Series C+).
- Background in accounting, finance, or fintech.
- Events marketing experience.
