Fizz is a Gen Z social platform that started as America's largest college social app and is now expanding globally. The company has achieved >95% undergraduate adoption at 700+ colleges, raised a $25M Series B, and recently hit #1 on the App Store in Saudi Arabia. Fizz is building the next generation of authentic social experiences for Gen Z, moving beyond entertainment-focused platforms like Instagram and TikTok. As a Growth Engineer, you'll sit at the intersection of product, engineering, and go-to-market strategy, working directly with the Head of Product, CTO, CEO, and growth/monetization teams. Your core mission is to build the systems and automations that power Fizz's expansion, monetization, and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include: designing and maintaining internal tools, workflows, and automations that power the GTM engine (onboarding flows, campus launch execution); collaborating with ops and trust & safety teams to identify recurring issues and deliver scalable solutions; owning analytics pipelines, dashboards, and reporting using SQL and performance metrics; automating critical workflows including content management and performance tracking for 500+ campus Instagram page managers; proactively uncovering problems and scoping opportunities with ops, growth, and product teams; prototyping Retool apps and lightweight internal tools while designing long-term production systems; and being directly accountable for outcomes that impact Fizz's expansion speed, monetization, and operational efficiency. You'll work with Swift, Node, Google Cloud, BigQuery, Mixpanel, and Retool, though prior experience with these specific technologies is not required. This is an onsite role based in the Soho office in New York.
