Volta is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure platform building compute utilities at scale. As Group Product Manager for Inference and Token Factory, you will own the product strategy and roadmap for Volta's inference infrastructure—the systems that serve AI models efficiently and cost-effectively at scale.
You will lead a team of product managers focused on inference performance, efficiency, and token-serving infrastructure. This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure engineering and product strategy, requiring you to translate customer needs and industry trends into prioritized roadmaps that drive inference throughput, latency, and cost improvements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning product strategy and roadmap for inference infrastructure and token-serving capabilities
- Leading and developing a team of product managers
- Partnering with platform engineering to define features that improve inference performance and cost efficiency
- Tracking industry and customer trends in inference workloads and translating them into roadmap priorities
- Defining and monitoring key metrics for inference performance and efficiency
- Representing inference priorities in cross-functional and leadership planning
- Working directly with key customers to understand evolving inference needs
You bring significant product management experience in AI/ML infrastructure or inference serving, with a proven track record managing product teams. You have strong technical understanding of model serving, inference optimization, and GPU compute. You've shipped infrastructure products in fast-evolving technical spaces and excel at prioritization and cross-functional communication.
