Salary: USD 90,000 - 100,000 / annual
Madison Reed is seeking a Graphic Designer to join the Creative Team, reporting to the Art Director. This is a full-time remote role operating on Pacific hours with occasional travel to Hair Color Bars, company events, and meetings.
You will split your time between performance marketing materials (video and static ads) and broader design projects supporting customer acquisition and brand initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
**Performance & Brand Creative**
- Create still, video, and animated ads ranging from simple static graphics and GIFs to 15-60 second branded videos across Meta, YouTube, Pinterest, and other paid/organic platforms
- Design digital assets including web and social banners, product detail page imagery, emails, and landing pages
- Contribute creative, edgy, and bold concepts for marketing and branding projects with strong design fundamentals
**Craft & Standards**
- Understand, articulate, and apply the latest platform, industry, and creative trends and digital best practices
- Interpret and apply design direction while maintaining brand consistency across all touchpoints
- Use AI-powered design tools alongside traditional design programs as a regular part of your workflow
**Collaboration**
- Present design thinking and work to internal clients and team members with engaging presentation skills
- Foster positive, collaborative relationships across social, acquisition, retention, and PR teams
A core part of this role is integrating AI-powered design tools into your workflow alongside traditional design programs. Prior experience with specific tools is not required; training and support will be provided. Madison Reed is disrupting the $50 billion hair care industry with both at-home color products and Hair Color Bar services.
**Requirements**
Required:
- 3+ years of professional in-house design experience
- Portfolio spanning web, email, social, branding, and motion or video work
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite products, Figma, MS Office, and Google Workspace
- Working knowledge of video editing and animation (Premiere, Final Cut, After Effects, or comparable tools)
- Willingness and ability to use AI-powered design tools (such as Cuttable) as a core part of daily workflow
- Strong grounding in digital media and email design principles with curiosity about emerging technology
Preferred:
- Comfort with or eagerness to learn other AI-powered creative tools (ChatGPT, Claude)
- Flexibility to move between channels: video production one day, brand brainstorming the next
- Beauty or fashion industry experience
