As Government Pre-Sales Engineer, you will own the end-to-end technical pre-sales motion for U.S. Government customers across Federal Civilian, Defense, Intelligence Community, and Aerospace & Defense sectors. You'll serve as a trusted technical advisor in customer-facing engagements, translating government regulatory, security, and procurement requirements into scalable solution designs.
Key responsibilities include: conducting solution architecture and demonstrations; managing proof-of-value engagements and RFP/RFI responses; partnering with Account Executives on complex, high-value federal pursuits; designing tailored proof-of-concepts aligned to customer mission priorities; collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to align customer needs with the solution roadmap; and contributing to best practices and playbooks that improve consistency across government pursuits.
You'll need 5–10+ years of experience in solutions engineering, pre-sales engineering, data integrations, enterprise architecture, or technical consulting supporting U.S. Government customers. Strong understanding of government procurement processes, security frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST, CMMC), and compliance requirements is essential. You should be comfortable with complex data integration challenges, able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and experienced in managing multiple concurrent pursuits in a fast-paced environment.
