Relativity Space is building advanced rockets, including the Terran R vehicle, to deliver payloads to orbit and advance space exploration. The Government Affairs Manager will be a key member of the Government Affairs team, playing a pivotal role in shaping aerospace policy and ensuring Relativity's voice is heard at federal, state, and local levels.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining strong relationships with state, county, and city officials; local economic development and workforce organizations; and representing the company before industry associations, Chambers of Commerce, and workforce boards. You will monitor and analyze state and local legislative, regulatory, and policy developments that impact company operations, and advocate for the company's priorities before state legislatures, regulatory agencies, and local governing bodies.
The role involves identifying and shaping opportunities for tax incentives, grants, workforce development programs, and other economic development benefits. You will coordinate with local governments on operational concerns, permitting, and community relations, and participate in relevant conferences, public forums, and stakeholder meetings in coordination with the Communications team.
