As a senior Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Lead, you will own Peregrine's federal security and compliance program, with primary focus on FedRAMP High authorization and expansion into Department of Defense (DoD) Impact Level 4, 5, and 6 deployments, alongside ICD 503 accreditation for Top Secret environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and sustaining Peregrine's FedRAMP High ATO through continuous monitoring, remediation, and reauthorization, including transition to FedRAMP 20x requirements
- Translating FedRAMP, NIST, federal agency, and DoD requirements into implementable technical and operational controls
- Leading agency-specific system authorizations from initial engagement through ATO issuance and ongoing sponsorship
- Partnering with Security and Infrastructure Engineering on system boundaries, ICAM, network security, encryption, logging, vulnerability management, supply-chain security, and incident response
- Developing authorization artifacts, control implementation statements, evidence, and continuous-monitoring deliverables
- Driving assessment findings and control gaps to closure while establishing scalable compliance automation practices
- Advising Federal and customer-facing teams during procurements, technical evaluations, and security reviews
This is a senior individual contributor role requiring deep expertise in federal compliance frameworks. You will work across Security, Engineering, Product, Legal, Federal Deployment, and GTM teams. The role is hybrid (4 days/week in-office) at Peregrine's Dupont Circle office in Washington, D.C. An active U.S. security clearance is required.
