Speechify is a 200-person, fully distributed company that has built a market-leading text-to-speech platform used by over 50 million people globally. The company was recently named Chrome Extension of the Year by Google and won Apple's 2025 Design Award for Inclusivity. SIMBA Voice Agents by Speechify is the company's newest product—a platform that lets enterprises deploy natural, human-sounding AI voice agents in 71+ languages with sub-second latency. Unlike traditional vendor relationships, every SIMBA customer is paired with a Forward Deployed Engineer who builds their agents, joins their Slack, and iterates weekly. You will own the full sales cycle for new mid-market and enterprise customers, from prospecting through close. This is a hybrid sales and technical role: you'll run discovery calls with technical buyers (CTOs, engineers) and business stakeholders, build and demo custom voice agent prototypes during the sales process to accelerate buy-in, and partner with Forward Deployed Engineers to ensure smooth handoffs from sale to onboarding. Key responsibilities include developing GTM playbooks and outbound strategies to help SIMBA break into new verticals, representing customer needs internally to influence product roadmap and packaging, and maintaining a clean CRM pipeline with accurate revenue forecasting. You should have 3–8 years of experience in sales, account executive, or GTM roles at technical B2B companies, with a proven track record of closing deals with both technical and business buyers. You're comfortable getting hands-on with APIs and no-code/low-code tools to build compelling demos, and you have a strong understanding of the AI/ML or voice technology landscape. Exceptional communication skills—the ability to simplify complex technical concepts without losing depth—are essential. You're highly self-directed with strong pipeline discipline and a bias toward action. Nice-to-have qualifications include prior experience selling AI, voice, or conversational technology; familiarity with telephony infrastructure, contact centers, or customer experience platforms; prior experience in a forward deployment or solutions engineering capacity; and multilingual capabilities or experience selling into international markets.
