Speechify is a 200-person, fully distributed company that has built the world's leading text-to-speech platform, used by over 50 million people to convert PDFs, books, Google Docs, articles, and websites into audio. The company recently earned Google's Chrome Extension of the Year and Apple's 2025 Design Award for Inclusivity. SIMBA Voice Agents by Speechify is the company's newest product—a platform enabling enterprises to deploy natural, human-sounding AI voice agents in 71+ languages with sub-second latency. Unlike traditional vendor relationships, every SIMBA customer receives a dedicated Forward Deployed Engineer who builds their agents, joins their Slack, and iterates weekly. In this Account Executive / Go-to-Market role, you will own the complete sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise customers, from prospecting through close. You'll combine dealmaking with technical depth: running discovery calls to understand customer tech stacks and integration requirements, building and demoing custom voice agent prototypes during sales cycles, and partnering with Forward Deployed Engineers to ensure smooth handoffs to onboarding. You'll also develop GTM playbooks, messaging, and outbound strategies to help SIMBA penetrate new verticals, represent customer needs internally to influence product roadmap decisions, and maintain pipeline discipline in CRM. The ideal candidate has 3–8 years in sales, account executive, or GTM roles at technical B2B companies, with a proven track record closing deals with both technical buyers (CTOs, engineers) and business stakeholders. You're comfortable getting hands-on with APIs and no-code/low-code tools to build compelling demos, have a strong understanding of the AI/ML and voice technology landscape, and can simplify complex technical concepts without losing depth. You're highly self-directed with strong pipeline discipline and a bias toward action. Nice-to-have experience includes selling AI, voice, or conversational technology; familiarity with telephony infrastructure, contact centers, or customer experience platforms; prior forward deployment or solutions engineering work; and multilingual capabilities or international sales experience. This is a rare role for someone who can command a boardroom and open a terminal.
