Graphcore, a leading AI infrastructure innovator and member of the SoftBank Group, is seeking a Global Sourcing Director to lead supply and demand planning across global operations. This director-level role sits at the intersection of Finance, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations, translating market demand into actionable supply chain strategies. Key responsibilities include developing and executing end-to-end demand and supply plans across global product lines; owning the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and aligning supply plans with financial and business objectives; collaborating cross-functionally to support operational and product planning; identifying supply risks and demand fluctuations while developing mitigation strategies; driving New Product Introduction (NPI) transitions to minimize excess and obsolete inventory; defining and tracking KPIs including forecast accuracy, inventory metrics, and delivery performance; leading business process optimization initiatives to improve supply chain scalability and automation; partnering with suppliers and external stakeholders for supply continuity; and providing leadership and mentorship across sourcing and planning functions. The ideal candidate brings demonstrated ability in logistics management, sourcing, or demand planning in AI infrastructure or high-scale technology environments. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field; strong expertise with forecasting, ERP systems, and supply planning tools (SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder); advanced analytical and data-driven decision-making skills; excellent communication abilities for presenting complex operational data to executives; experience leading cross-functional operational planning and process improvement initiatives; and strong interpersonal skills for fast-paced environments. Desirable qualifications include an MBA or MS in Operations Research or Industrial Engineering; experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python, or R for reporting and forecasting automation; background in consumer electronics, AI infrastructure, or data center hardware; professional certifications (APICS CPIM/CSCP or PMP); and experience in global sourcing and supply chain organizations.
