Rubrik Professional Services is seeking a Global Solutions Architect to serve as the senior technical authority for public cloud architecture. This is a global individual-contributor role at Technical Director level, focused on setting architectural direction for how Rubrik is designed, deployed, and operated in demanding cloud environments. You will be deployed on the highest-impact engagements: flagship accounts, first-of-a-kind architectures, and strategic customer deployments that set patterns for the broader practice. Between engagements, you will convert field learning into reference architectures, service offerings, and enablement that scale the capability of the entire Solutions Architect and consultant community. Key responsibilities include: owning the global cloud architecture standard (reference architectures, design patterns, guardrails, anti-patterns); serving as the final technical escalation for cloud architecture decisions on strategic engagements worldwide; defining the technical shape of cloud service offerings; leading the most complex, highest-visibility customer engagements (multi-region, multi-cloud, multi-regulator estates); serving as trusted advisor to customer CIOs, CTOs, Chief Architects, and CISOs; building intellectual property (reference architectures, deployment automation, design templates, decision trees); mentoring and developing Solutions Architects and senior consultants globally; defining technical competency standards and enablement; representing Rubrik at conferences and customer advisory boards; and acting as the field's credible voice into Product Management and Engineering to shape roadmap priorities and cloud-native feature direction. Required qualifications: 15+ years overall experience including 8+ years as a hands-on cloud architect at enterprise scale; demonstrated ownership of multi-region, multi-account/subscription cloud estates in large enterprise or consulting/professional services organizations; expert-level AWS and Azure expertise with strong GCP knowledge; genuine depth across compute, storage, networking, identity, and encryption/key management; deep understanding of enterprise data protection and cyber resilience (RTO/RPO modeling, immutability, backup and recovery design); working fluency in cloud security and compliance frameworks in regulated industries; strong automation background (Infrastructure as Code, scripting, API-first integration, CI/CD); track record of influence without authority across global, matrixed organizations; executive-grade communication credible with both CIOs and principal engineers; and evidence of building reusable technical IP.
