The company has raised $1.4B+ from top-tier investors and is rapidly expanding its global payroll capabilities. You will join Rippling's Global Payroll Operations team as a critical hire focused on developing and executing payroll operations and country-specific expertise outside the US. This role is fully dedicated to expanding Rippling's global payroll product offerings and operational capabilities. Key Responsibilities: - Execute timely payroll processing, filings, and payments for customers across key countries, with primary focus on Mexico - Drive issue resolution and direct communication with government agencies, external partners, and customers to resolve payroll-related issues on their behalf - Collaborate closely with Global Payroll Engineering and Product teams to ensure: - Natively built payroll software meets key payroll and tax compliance requirements - Product bugs and calculation errors are quickly identified and addressed - Internal tooling requirements are properly prioritized and implemented - Bring critical country-specific payroll expertise to support development of native payroll software - Manage all operational aspects across select countries and drive expansion into new customer segments and geographies This role requires significant cross-departmental engagement and will have major impact on product and customer experience. The position operates in a bilingual English/Spanish environment. Requirements: - Minimum 4+ years in global payroll processing roles - Minimum 2+ years in client-facing roles - Strong Mexico payroll experience (required) - Experience running payroll in-house using common Mexico payroll software - Bonus: experience with other LATAM country payroll - Understanding of payroll concepts, regulations, and leave entitlements - Knowledge of labor legislation and compliance requirements - Experience with payroll-related systems and software - Ability to review and validate payroll calculations - Proficiency with Google Suite or Microsoft Office (Sheets/Excel); familiarity with Salesforce, JIRA, Confluence a plus - Strong organizational skills and ability to work under strict deadlines - Fluent in Spanish and English—written and spoken (C1 level English or higher preferred)
