Barcelona, and Primavera Sound, and is backed by leading global investors. The People Operations team is seeking a Global Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join their dynamic HR team. This role goes beyond traditional payroll administration, positioning you as a key liaison between the HR team and external payroll providers across multiple international locations. Key Responsibilities: - Own and scale payroll operations across international locations, coordinating with external providers to ensure smooth execution - Ensure accurate and timely employee payments while maintaining compliance with tax and social security regulations across jurisdictions - Monitor and report on salary costs, analyzing trends to support strategic decision-making - Serve as the primary point of contact for employees on payroll, tax, and social security queries, providing clear and reliable guidance - Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to address payroll-related issues efficiently - Oversee employee benefits administration, identifying and implementing new perks to enhance employee engagement - Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Payroll & Benefits function You will be responsible for streamlining HR services on an international scale, ensuring compliance, driving process improvements, and delivering exceptional support to employees across multiple countries. The role requires a versatile professional with a proven track record in payroll who is passionate about accuracy, efficiency, and elevating the employee experience. The position is based in Madrid with a home-office friendly hybrid arrangement. You'll work in the heart of Madrid while enjoying flexibility. Requirements: - 2-3 years of experience in payroll and benefits; exposure to international payroll is a plus - Advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher); additional languages are an asset - Strong technical skills in Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office required; knowledge of Personio is advantageous - Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset - Proactive, solutions-oriented approach with commitment to process optimization
