DocPlanner Group is the world's largest healthcare platform, connecting 24 million patients with 280k doctors across 13 countries through brands like ZnanyLekarz, Doctoralia, MioDottore, DoktorTakvimi, and jameda. The company operates marketplaces, SaaS, and AI tools that help doctors, clinics, and hospitals work more efficiently.
You will lead a team of 2-3 analytics professionals, managing workload, priorities, and agile workflows (sprints, backlogs, intake processes). You'll coach analysts on technical and professional growth, holding them accountable for quality and impact. A key focus is upskilling the team in AI-first practices—using AI for querying, coding, and analysis—and systematizing these approaches through shared libraries, reusable code, and GitHub-based architecture.
You'll partner directly with the VP of Individual Doctors and VP of Clinics to understand their businesses, identify gaps, and surface opportunities. This includes leading deep-dive analyses that explain not just what happened but why and what to do about it. You'll propose, run, and analyze experiments (A/B tests and beyond) that inform business decisions.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining scalable data models and automations across all 13 markets, creating dashboards in Looker and/or Tableau for non-technical stakeholders, and ensuring consistency with BI and data standards. You'll act as a translation layer between business needs and DocPlanner's data organization (BI, Data Platform, Product Analytics), bringing the right requirements to each team and pushing back respectfully on scope or timelines.
You'll also build and maintain an interpretation layer between data systems and end users, turning metrics and models into AI-generated insights people can act on. This includes surfacing market performance insights and delivering them directly to senior stakeholders in decision-ready formats.
Required: degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or similar); 5+ years of analytics experience including 1-2 years leading analysts; very good SQL skills (BigQuery preferred); Python is a plus. You should have proven experience designing and maintaining automations and scalable data models, setting up or scaling AI-first ways of working, and digesting complex data into business language for senior non-technical audiences. Hands-on experience with Looker and/or Tableau, working knowledge of statistical modeling and A/B testing, and cross-functional partnership experience are essential. Professional English fluency required; Spanish is a plus.
Ideal candidates are strategic, structured thinkers who break down complex problems into logical components. You're comfortable navigating ambiguity, driven by results, and understand AI/LLM capabilities and limitations. You have an entrepreneurial mindset, own your work and results, and have a track record of scoping complex problems and developing insights that drive decisions. You prioritize effectively, lead multiple workstreams concurrently, and build trust across diverse stakeholders.
Experience in tech companies, startups, or consultancy is advantageous. No prior healthcare or SaaS experience required, but curiosity about both is essential. The role is remote-first with most colleagues based in Spain; Barcelona or Madrid-based candidates are ideal.
