Veeam Software, the Data and AI Trust Company headquartered in Seattle, is seeking a Global Compliance Analyst to support regulatory research, legal analysis, and operationalization of global privacy and AI requirements.
In this role, you will build subject matter expertise on global data privacy and AI laws, including regulations across multiple jurisdictions and Veeam's privacy compliance modules. You'll maintain, update, and enhance regulatory research and legal knowledge databases, identifying gaps and proposing product improvements to ensure Veeam's solutions remain compliant with evolving standards.
Key responsibilities include independently owning regulatory interpretation for assigned jurisdictions and frameworks, conducting legal analysis on emerging privacy and AI regulations, and translating complex regulatory requirements into actionable compliance strategies. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, legal, and operations to operationalize compliance requirements and support the company's global expansion.
The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical, communication, and drafting skills with a genuine interest in evolving global privacy and AI regulations. You should be detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple regulatory frameworks simultaneously, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where regulations are constantly changing. Experience with privacy frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, and emerging AI regulations is valuable.
