FlixBus is seeking a Global Accounting Process Owner to join the Global Accounting and Process Excellence Team. This role owns and governs the global end-to-end accounting process, including standards, policies, procedures, and controls across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
• Own and govern global accounting processes, establishing standards, policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Drive process harmonization and standardization across regions, business units, and shared service centers
• Lead process optimization initiatives including robotic process automation (RPA), workflow optimization, and ERP enhancements
• Maintain and execute the global process optimization roadmap, prioritizing improvement opportunities and managing implementation
• Define and monitor process KPIs, service levels, and performance targets to ensure continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards
• Partner with key stakeholders including shared service centers, IT, country/regional teams, product owners, and external providers
• Leverage process mining, analytics, and benchmarking to identify inefficiencies and best practices
