Salary: USD 65,000 - 75,000 / annual
Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building energy-efficient solutions to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. The company owns and operates the full stack from electrons to tokens, addressing the critical bottleneck of power availability for AI compute.
As a General Ledger Accountant, you will own cash accounting, accrual processes, and related accounting functions critical to Crusoe's financial integrity as the company scales. You'll sit at the intersection of Treasury and other accounting functions, ensuring every transaction is accurately tracked and reconciled.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing cash accounting: reviewing cash transactions, ensuring completeness of cash entries and accounts, and performing monthly cash reconciliations between the general ledger and bank statements
- Cross-functional reconciliations: reconciling sub-ledgers and systems to the general ledger for accruals and other transactions
- Coordination and collaboration: owning relationships with tax, treasury, fixed asset, and revenue accounting teams to identify and accurately record complex transactions
- Tax and audit support: working with the tax team on direct and indirect monthly accruals and supporting external audit and due diligence requests
- Playing a key role in month-end close processes
You'll bring 2–3 years of accounting experience and a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. You have solid understanding of U.S. GAAP regarding cash, accrual processes, internal controls, and accounting best practices. You're exceptionally skilled at manipulating and analyzing large datasets with speed and accuracy, and you're proficient with ERP systems and Excel. Bonus qualifications include experience in data center, energy, or heavy manufacturing industries; advanced Excel functionalities like Power Queries; familiarity with systems like Sage Intacct, FloQast, Coupa, and Kyriba; or a CPA license or candidacy.
