Seamflow builds AI-powered workflows for certification bodies, notified bodies, and inspection companies—automating scheduling, resource planning, technical review, conformity assessment, field inspection, and document intelligence. As a Front End Design Engineer, you will own the complete interface layer for technical reviewers who spend their day inside 400-page technical files, cross-referencing clauses, checking test reports against standards, and deciding whether products are safe to sell. Today they work in Word, Acrobat, and legacy spreadsheets. You will design and build the interface that determines how fast they work and whether they trust the AI sitting next to them.
You own layout, typography, interaction, motion, the design system, and the React implementation. You decide how reviewers see findings, how they correct AI errors, and how dense regulatory data becomes readable. You sketch, build, ship, and validate with real users in your first week.
The team comprises engineers from Google, Amazon, X, Yandex, McKinsey, Bain, and founding-engineer roles at multi-billion-dollar startups. Most were olympiad medallists in mathematics, physics, or informatics.

REQUIREMENTS:
- You have designed and built an interface that real people used every day (shipped product, not mockups or component libraries).
- You have taste and can defend it: typography, spacing, motion, hierarchy, pixel-level attention to detail.
- You build the complete stack: design, frontend, state, and data. You don't hand off Figma to engineers or code to designers.
- You can design for density and complex workflows: expert users, hundreds of fields on screen, making clarity harder than landing-page beauty.
- You go to the source: you watch users work and design for what they actually do, not process diagrams.
Signals valued (not required): design engineering or frontend roles at Linear, Vercel, Notion, or Figma; a design system you built and maintained; interfaces where people review or correct AI output; founder or ex-founder experience; founding team experience; EF / YC / Antler; early or stealth-stage startup background.
