Vega is a fast-growing cybersecurity startup building an AI-native platform for security operations centers (SOCs). The company is redefining security analytics and operations with headquarters in New York and Tel Aviv, serving some of the world's largest organizations.
You will build Vega's financial planning and analysis function from the ground up. This is a foundational role with no existing model, process, or team to inherit. You will establish the FP&A framework, run it independently for the first year, and then build and lead a team around it.
The role centers on business partnering with the go-to-market organization (Sales and Marketing leadership). You will be a trusted finance partner providing pipeline coverage, quota planning, headcount analysis, and spend oversight. You'll own the revenue forecast and keep it tightly connected to ground-level commercial activity. You'll analyze unit economics including CAC, LTV, payback period, and margin by segment. You'll lead financial thinking on pricing and packaging decisions.
You will build and own the company's operating model covering revenue, headcount, and expenses across all departments. You'll construct and maintain the financial model used for fundraising and support investor diligence. You'll run the annual budget and rolling forecasts, maintaining clear visibility on runway and scenario planning.
You'll build board materials with compelling narratives, establish monthly reporting rhythms, conduct variance analysis, and lead department budget reviews. After approximately one year, you'll hire and lead your own FP&A team.
This role requires someone who thrives in cross-functional collaboration and wants to be in the room with leadership, not building models in isolation.
