Emora Health is a venture-backed healthtech company closing the gap in youth mental health access. Millions of kids and teens in America have unmet mental health needs—not because effective care doesn't exist, but because families struggle to find it and the professionals who see these kids daily (pediatricians, schools, health systems) lack a trusted way to connect them to care. The company has just closed its Series A and is scaling rapidly into new markets and partnerships.
You will be Emora's first GTM Lead, building the growth engine from the ground up: a nationwide, on-the-ground sales and partnerships organization that puts Emora in the room with pediatricians, health systems, schools, and community organizations who refer families daily. This is a build-from-scratch, own-the-outcome, define-the-playbook leadership role for someone who wants to create something category-defining.
You will own the architect and leader of Emora's non-paid growth strategy—channels that run through sales motions, relationships, and boots on the ground, not marketing budgets. You will build and lead an ambitious team with aggressive targets, launch and test new channels quickly, and become Emora's go-to point person as the company grows deeper in existing markets and scales into new markets across the country.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and stand up Emora's field GTM strategy from the ground up: team structure, territory design, targets, and playbook
- Recruit, hire, and lead a team of regional sales and partnership professionals across markets, setting an ambitious bar for performance and culture
- Build and manage a national pipeline of pediatric practices, health systems, schools, universities, and community organizations
- Personally launch new markets and prove new channels before scaling them across the team
- Set and own aggressive, measurable growth targets tied to referrals, admissions, and partner acquisition; build systems to track and hit them
- Test new non-paid growth channels quickly—run tight experiments, learn fast, and scale what works
- Represent Emora Health at conferences, community events, and in direct meetings with providers and health system leaders as a credible, energizing spokesperson
- Partner closely with clinical, operations, and executive leadership to ensure the field organization delivers exceptional partner and patient experience
- Build reporting, forecasting, and pipeline infrastructure that enables scaling with precision
Requirements:
- 4–7 years of experience spanning management consulting, banking/investing, and/or an early operating role (Growth, GTM, Sales) at a high-growth startup
- Proven sales or GTM leader with a track record of building and scaling teams from the ground up, ideally in healthcare, technology, or another field-sales-driven industry
- Experience managing and coaching a team against ambitious, quota-driven targets—and consistently exceeding them
- Builder at heart: energized by ambiguity, comfortable creating structure and process where none exists yet
- Magnetic, credible communicator who can walk into a pediatrician's office or health system boardroom and earn trust immediately
- Data-driven: build pipelines and forecasts you trust, make fast decisions based on what numbers tell you
- Deeply mission-driven: genuinely energized by expanding access to mental health care for kids, teens, and families
- Excited to be an early, senior leader at a fast-growing venture-backed company and help shape not just a channel, but a category
