Blee is an AI-first marketing content compliance platform trusted by PayPal, NerdWallet, and Brex. The company is YC-backed and founded by an ex-Adobe marketing ops leader and former lawyer, defining a new category across Fintech, Financial Services, CPG, Travel, and Life Sciences.
You will be Blee's first dedicated Customer Support Engineer, owning how support operates end-to-end. Your core responsibilities include:
**Day-to-Day Work:**
- Own the support queue as first responder across all inbound channels, managing response and resolution times
- Resolve technical issues end-to-end: reproduce problems, diagnose against logs and configurations, and either fix directly or provide engineering with clean, reproducible write-ups
- Explain AI functionality to customers—help legal, compliance, and marketing teams at major companies understand why checks fired, how rulesets evaluate, and how configuration shapes output
- Build the self-serve layer: help center articles, FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and video walkthroughs that reduce support volume as the customer base grows
- Automate repeat work through macros, triage rules, AI agents over documentation, and in-product guidance
- Close the loop with product and engineering by filing issues with reproduction steps and pushing for fixes to high-ticket generators
- Arm the rest of the team with internal runbooks, escalation paths, and enablement so Customer Success and Implementation can resolve common issues independently
- Help define the support function: severity levels, coverage models, response targets, and tooling stack
You will report to the Head of Customer Success and work closely with Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and Implementation teams. Day-to-day, you'll interact with legal, compliance, and marketing teams at large enterprises.
**Requirements:**
- 3–6 years in technical support, support engineering, solutions engineering, or technical operations at a B2B SaaS company, or adjacent role where you built tooling and process behind a customer-facing function
- Demonstrated evidence of what you have built: a knowledge base, automation, internal tool, or AI workflow that measurably removed work (be ready to walk through one in detail)
- Hands-on experience with AI tooling and a point of view on where it helps and where it does not
- Ability to debug independently: read logs, call APIs, trace integrations, write queries
- Writing and video samples: documentation, guides, or walkthroughs you created
- Experience in regulated or compliance-adjacent domains, or in marketing operations, is a plus
