Confido is an AI infrastructure platform serving the CPG industry, used by 200+ brands including OLIPOP, Simple Mills, Dr. Squatch, and Tropicana to manage finance, accounting, sales, and operations in a unified system. The company is growing 5x year-over-year with a small team in NYC.
This is a founding Account Manager role focused on expansion revenue within Confido's existing customer base. You will own upsell, cross-sell, and seat growth across an assigned book of business, reporting directly to the Head of Business Operations.
Key responsibilities include:
**Upsell & Cross-Sell**: Own expansion revenue metrics by proactively identifying expansion signals through usage patterns, new use cases, organizational changes, and strategic initiatives. Build and execute account plans for top targets, mapping stakeholders and timing opportunities. Run the full commercial cycle on expansion deals from discovery through close.
**Account Relationships**: Build strong relationships across each account from day-to-day users to economic buyers and executive sponsors. Conduct regular business reviews connecting Confido's value to customer commercial outcomes. Earn trusted advisor status so you're the first call when customers evaluate new investments or face challenges.
**Commercial Playbook Building**: Define and document upsell and cross-sell motions from scratch, including what triggers outreach, deal structuring, and resonant messaging. Work with Customer Success to establish clear handoff points and shared signals. Partner with Product and Marketing to translate new capabilities into expansion narratives.
Required qualifications: 4+ years in Account Management, Sales, or quota-carrying commercial roles at B2B SaaS companies with a track record of hitting expansion targets. Demonstrable experience owning upsell and cross-sell motions. Strong relationship-building skills across organizational levels. Comfortable with ambiguity and excited by building process from scratch. Data-driven approach using pipeline data, usage analytics, and account health signals. Excellent written and verbal communication. Must be in NYC headquarters 5 days per week.
Familiarity with CPG, retail, or supply chain is a plus but not required. The role offers competitive base salary plus uncapped commission on expansion revenue, equity ownership, fully paid health coverage, 12 weeks paid parental leave, unlimited PTO, and relocation support.
