Granted is a seed-stage healthtech company ($17M funded) building an AI-powered platform to help Americans navigate healthcare bills, fight claim denials, correct billing errors, negotiate lower bills, and understand coverage. Founded by a former Oscar Health leader and backed by investors including Hugging Face, Rocket Money, and Forerunner Ventures, Granted has launched its first pilot with a major benefit broker and is now scaling its partnership distribution model.
As Founding Account Executive, you will build Granted's partnerships motion from the ground up, working directly with the CEO. This is a foundational hire with significant ownership and impact.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and manage the full business development pipeline: identify and prioritize high-potential verticals (broker networks, employer groups, payers, TPAs), source and qualify leads, and drive deals forward
- Close new partnerships: lead complex, high-touch BD cycles (2–12 months), secure early wins, and iterate rapidly
- Craft GTM narratives: collaborate with marketing and branding to develop pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and partner onboarding materials
- Develop a repeatable playbook: build infrastructure, CRM systems, sales operations, and outreach materials to scale the channel motion
- Represent Granted externally: serve as the credible, consultative face of the company with partners, demonstrating relentless follow-through
You will thrive in this role if you are energized by mastering complex systems (employer benefits, payer incentives, broker economics, TPA structures), comfortable owning 6–12 month deals end-to-end, and passionate about solving the healthcare affordability and transparency problem.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must-haves:
- 4–7 years of experience in healthcare partnerships, business development, sales, or strategy
- Background in a high-performance environment: top-tier undergraduate institution, consulting firm, or venture-backed startup (MBA strongly preferred)
- Proven track record of closing deals with hunger to own larger, more complex deals end-to-end
- Strong project management skills; ability to drive multiple deals forward simultaneously without dropping the ball
- High integrity, low ego, and genuine desire to build something that matters
Nice-to-haves:
- Early-stage startup experience
- Exposure to employer benefits, digital health, or insurance tech
- Existing network of healthcare systems, brokers, payers, or benefit leaders
